Learning Soccer in Elementary School: Using Teaching Games for Understanding and Digital Media

In this study, a digitally supported sports game teaching process for elementary school was investigated using the approach, Teaching Games Understanding (TGfU). The investigation carried out to investigate research question: How do students experience and interpret use of digital media when soccer TGfU approach in physical education (PE) lessons? To end, unit on four classes fourth grade according method. During unit, 9- 10-year-old recorded one another with an app tagged certain situations predefined criteria. sequences (approximately 8 s) were discussed together during reflection phases. Following lesson, 65 guided interviews conducted students. focuses perspectives involved.
